FAQs

How do I become a speaker?

The speaker application has closed for 2020. Join our email list to be notified about special opportunities throughout the year and when the application opens for 2021.

How can I support the summit?

You can support the summit by 1) registering to attend 2) sharing the event and encouraging others to register 3) becoming a sponsor, 4) sharing the sponsorship information with organizations that you believe would benefit from supporting the event, and 5) making a scholarship donation to help us support young voices (18-22) who are interested in participating.

Why is it a summit instead of a conference?

A conference is a gathering of professionals who come together to learn from each other and a summit is a gathering of people who are seeking to tackle a problem and come away with solutions. The summit is designed to provide tangible takeaways for attendees to implement in their ministries. As you are #RethinkingChurch, we also want you to begin making changes that will position your ministry to be successful in the future.

Can I get a refund if I cannot attend?

Registrations are not refundable. You can transfer your registration to another person or you can watch the sessions on demand for up to 30 days following the close of the event.

Why should I attend this event?

This summit is designed for attendees who want to theologically think outside of the box. If your go to statement is, “We haven’t ever done it like this” or “That’s not how we do things” then this summit may not be for you but if you are seeking new ways to reach the current and future worshippers then we would love to have your participation.

What is the format of the sessions?

There will be two types of sessions and they will generally follow this format:

  • Plenary - a keynote speaker presenting a big idea with follow through strategies

  • Break Out - there will be four simultaneous sessions with presentations by industry experts followed by a time for Q&A
